Martin Rodriguez grew up in Southern California and started playing the guitar at the ripe old age of 13 years old.  A year later he was in a band and playing his first gig, starting a long professional musical career that has spanned over 40 years.   After high school he attended Middle Tennessee State University where he studied music recording and engineering and played in bands that covered everything from Country to Blues to Rock and Jazz.   He has worked with and shared the stage with such notables as Wide Spread Panic, The Nighthawks, Jack Pearson (Allman Brothers), Moe Denham (Tony Joe White) and The San Rafael Band (Latin Jazz) and Melody Guy.  He also has recorded and performed with producer Leonard Wolf (Garth Brooks, Dr. Hook) and written songs for McGraw Music.   Currently he is working as a solo acoustic artist playing a mix of Roots, Rock, Blues and classic tunes as well as his own original music.
